I have a Teledyne model 335 oxygen monitor that has a bad sensor. What sensor part number is compatible with this unit?

What can be wrong when the analyzer indicates “LOW A/C”, and the unit doesn’t switch “ON” in battery mode or Power supply mode?

To avoid the batteries getting discharged during transportation or on the shelf, these instruments are sent from the factory with the following precautionary measures. The user needs to carry out the following before it is powered “ON”.

1) Inside the analyzer, there are two loose wires (red & white/green) each with black electrical tape covering the lugs at the ends.

FYI... These wires are not connected prior to shipment. When these wires are connected, the LEDs will be powered. That would create an unsafe condition and will also drain the batteries.

2) Remove the electrical tape from the red wire and connect the lug to #5 of the terminal strip (TS2).

3) Remove the electrical tape from the white/green wire and connect the lug to # 6 of the TS2.

TS2 is the terminal strip toward the bottom of the analyzer where the AC power cord is connected. Please refer to drawings in the manual : interconnection or wiring diagram.

Plug in the AC power cord to recharge the batteries and operate the unit.

Can I use the remote probe from a Model 335 in place of the one provided with my 3350?

No, since the 3350 uses a different probe assembly this is not possible. The 3350 requires the thermistor to be wired back to the electronics portion. Cable Color code is Red (Sensor +), Black (Sensor -), White (Thermistor), Green (Thermistor), and Green/White (Shield).
